HAIL, thou Root of Jesse, Virgin, purest, fairest, God's own Son incarnate, God the Word thou barest. |
| 2 | 你是山嶽至聖至潔， 那塊巍然不動磐石， 奇蹟般地從你取出， 成為大山覆蓋全地。 |
Thou the sacred Mountain, Where the Stone unshaken, Which the world o'er spreadeth, Wondrously was taken. |
| 3 | 基甸羊毛求證之物， 亞倫之杖已然發芽， 焚而不毀荊棘之叢， 皆已奇妙預示於你。 |
Thee the Fleece of Gideon Mystically showeth, And the Rod that buddeth, And the Bush that gloweth. |

Blessèd amongst women! Now, of bliss partaker, Thou dost make petition, To thy Son and Maker: |
